Kandy, Sri Lanka. Claret Nivas in Kandy happily received ninety youth in their house on May 22, 2022, as it celebrates the annual youth program for the young people of the different apostolate areas where the scholastics of Claret Nivas go for a mission experience. With them was Fr. Jenis Coonghe, CMF, one of the Youth Ministry Animators of St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation, who animated the gathering. The scholastics also helped in giving other inputs and some games.
The program aimed at deepening the bond among themselves. The dialogues and sharing moments kept the youngsters deeply involved in all the activities and they all took part with much eagerness and enthusiasm. Amidst the prevailing chaotic political instability in their country, the event made them feel relaxed and refreshed.
Moreover, the Missionary Sisters of St. Antony Mary Claret (MC) came, spent time with them and shared about their congregation and its mission, and conducted a vocation promotion program.
The event concluded with a Eucharistic Celebration.
