Youth Convention in Kenya

Nairobi, Kenya. In solidarity with the whole Church and the Congregation in giving attention to the youth and their challenges, St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation organized a convention for the youth of its parishes in Kenya on August 15 to 19, 2018 with a theme God is love, arise and shine! (1 John 1:5, Isaiah 60:1).

The youth were invited to be a guiding light to their companions, be productive in the Church and in the society. The event was an eye opener to many. Among the activities done where teachings, motivational talks, vocation talks wherein many religious men and women congregations were invited, spiritual exercises, hiking, and bonfire with youth sharing.

The Delegation is planning to hold such convention yearly and in the following months, it will organize more youth conventions in Uganda and Tanzania. A mega convention for the whole Delegation is on its way after these mini conventions in the different countries under the care of the Organism (Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania).
