Poland. From November 8 to 22 we, the Claretian Missionaries of the Polish Province, have had some special moments. Brother Arnel Alcober, general responsible of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) has come to Poland to facilitate some workshops in our formation centres. He has organized 2 workshops of JPIC.
The first was in Wroclaw (seminary house) with the group of formandi, 12 participants.
The second took place in Kudowa (postulancy), with the group of the “Quinquennium” and the Missionary Brothers, 11 participants. The main points discussed were: ‘Biblical and theological fundaments of JPIC’, ‘Methods used in JPIC’, ‘What do we understand by justice?’ ‘Catholic Social Teaching’, Globalization, Just Commerce, etc. Everything was combined with prayer, sharing and reflecting on our Claretian identity. These activities opened our eyes in a special way in view of the needs of the persons around us. The meetings were very enriching and helped to delve into the knowledge of JPIC in the world, in the Church, in our communities and in our lives. All the participants in the formation workshops of JPIC have come out renewed in our vocation and mission, thanks to the animation of Bro. Arnel.
