The second edition of the Claret-Life Award is underway as it was announced in this page three months ago. Until June 20 nominations can be presented for the Claret-Life Award, convoked for the second time by the Claretian Missionaries with the objective of promoting the different initiatives of defence and care of life promoted by the Claretian Family all over the world.
The awarding of the prize will take place during the World Youth Day – CLARET WAY 2023 in Portugal. The aim of the award is to recognise and give visibility to some significant initiatives that generate processes of transformation in people and communities, encouraged by the Gospel.
The first edition of the prize, awarded in 2019, distinguished among twenty nominations, the House of the of Arizona (Honduras), the projects of the Lay Claretians of Quibdó (Colombia) and the Claret Homes of Mexico.
The Claret-Life Award reaffirms the commitment of the Claretian Missionaries and their willingness to work with the Lay Claretians in the defence and care of life, and with young people to enrich themselves with their values and dreams of a better humanity, fighting against hunger, poverty and all kinds of injustice.
