Kupang, Indonesia. The Animator’s Gathering of the Claret Youth Ministry of the island of West Timor took place from 27 to 29 April 2018 at the Taman Ziarah Yesus Maria Oebelo, Kupang. The theme was “AMC Hidup Mandiri dan Suci” (Claretian Youth: Live Responsibly and Holy).
The participants reflected on the life of the “Young Claret” presented by Fr. Francisco Baeza, CMF. They were also given a session on the responsibily and independence of the youth by Fr. Seles Panggara, CMF. Sis. Didol of the Missionary Sisters of St. Anthony Mary Claret facilitated the Theater Arts Seminar Workshop. Youth Director, Fr. Johanes Jeramu, CMF made them reflect on the latest Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Francis, “Gaudete et Exsultate“. And lastly, they listened to the life experience and witnessing of a mother (Mama Tito) and a youth (Intan).
The Encounter has been very significant for the animators of the Delegation of Indonesia Timor Leste. The Organism hopes that the young people will feel more called to be “holy and holy” in the world today, as Pope Francis said in his exhortation.
