Rep. Dominican. Fr. Roselio arrived in Puerto Principe on the afternoon of Wednesday and communicated with Fr. Héctor. I copy his brief note:
Halo, Hector: I have just arrived from Haiti. You don’t know what a disaster it is. I was with our brothers and they… you can imagine. Tomorrow I will be again with them. Haiti is destroyed. Our house is cracked and the church is razed to the ground. Anistus and Beauplan are well, with people in the courtyard and hungry.

Yesterday, Jan 13, at 18:30h, Fr. Héctor and Alexis were preparing to make a trip, although it was already night, to Jimaní, in order to go from there tomorrow, Thursday, to Puerto Príncipe and be present with our brothers…
The PROCLADE Foundation, that started an emergency campaign to confront the effects of the tropical storms and hurricanes of 2008, still goes on and spreads its emergency for yesterday’s earthquake, January 12, 2010.
