… celebrated a Workshop from June 29th to July 2nd at our Claretian Seminary “Fr. Xifré” in Bata. The workshop was conducted by Fr. Juan Carlos Martos, CMF, Secretary General of the Vocation Ministry.
Also joining with them were Frs. Marcelo Ensema, Prefect of Formation and Vicar of the Delegation, and Fr. José Engonga, Prefect of the Apostolate. They were accompanied by two Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception and one sister of Saint Angel.
The fruit of these days of discernment was a Proposal for Vocation Ministry which will be presented for discussion at the next Assembly of the Delegation. Afterwards, the Government of the Delegation will proceed to approve it.
The proposal foresees the creation of local Teams which can animate all the vocations in the shared mission.
On the 2nd of July, coinciding with the Solemnity of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bishop Juan Matogo Oyana, CMF, Bishop of the Diocese of Bata, joined the group and presided at the closing Eucharistic celebration.
