Abuja, Nigeria. Since Monday, April 25, 2022, the Claretian Missionaries of West Nigeria Independent Delegation are gathered at the Institute of Consecrated Life Abuja (INCLA) in Bwari Area Council, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria for their 6th Delegation Assembly. Presiding them is Fr. Manuel Tamargo, CMF, General Prefect of Economy, who led them in the enthronement of the Bible on the first day, the opening, and the reading of the Message of the General Superior to the assembly.
On the second day, Claretian Bishop of Bauchi, Msgr. Hilary Naman Dachelem, CMF preached the usual mini-retreat, part of Assemblies and Claretian Chapters these past years. He reminded them that the Eucharistic adoration for mission is one of the treasures of the Congregation, a heritage from the Father Founder, and a reason for adding great value to the Church. And then specified other important treasures of the Congregation. As a fond and humorous person, the bishop reminded them too to never lose their sense of humor as a missionary and while on mission.
