Three Claretians ordained Deacons

May 3, 2009 | Brothers, Ordinations

Spain. On March 18, at 6:30 in the afternoon, three young Claretians received the Order of Diaconate in Colmenar Viejo. Tow of them are from India and are assigned to Germany (Thomas Kurian and Valentin Anthony Raj) and one from Indonesia (Valens Agino) who is now finishing his licentiate in Biblical Theology in the Comillas University. The Claretian Archbishop Fernando Sebastián presided over the ordination. The liturgy, music, the participation of the people… were just right. The Claretian church was fully packed and the people were happy with this experience.

At the end, the three new Deacons thanked the people in a familiar, simple and varied way. The three received a warm round of applause.
