The Mission with the Consecrated in our Institutes of Consecrated Life

Jul 6, 2024 | Institutes of Consecrated Life

Rome, Italy. From July 1 to 5, 2024, the Directors of the six Institutes of Consecrated Life operated by the Claretian Missionaries held their 2024 meeting at the General Curia in Rome. The Congregation oversees these Theological Institutes of Consecrated Life across all continents: 2 in Europe (Claretianum in Rome and ITVR in Madrid), 2 in Asia (ICLA in Manila and ICL in Sanyasa), 1 in America (ITVCA in Bogotà), and 1 in Africa (InCLA in Abuja). The main objectives of the meeting were to present a report on the life and activities of each institute and to collaboratively study and finalize draft documents for the new project initiatives.

The meeting offered an opportunity to discuss the current state of the Congregation’s special and unique mission. Participants discussed the strengths, weaknesses, and God’s guidance. These discussions led to the development of a new vision for the coordination and reorganization of the six centers.
