Rome Italy. The following decisions have been taken and adopted during the first week of intensive sessions of the General Government which began on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the General Curia in Rome:
APPOINTMENT OF THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF THE PROVINCE OF FATIMA
On 16 October, the General Government has appointed the Provincial Government of the future Province of Fatima that would be canonically erected on January 1, 2019. Appointed were:

Consultors: Frs. Jorge Ramón Sánchez Palacios, Paul Smyth, João Luis Alves Escaleira, CMFF
Consultor-Econome: Fr. Manuel Ricardo Segura Giráldez, CMF
CANONICAL ERECTION OF THE INDEPENDENT DELEGATION OF ANGOLA – SÃO TOMÉ E PRÍNCIPE AND INDEPENDENT DELEGATION OF KOLKATA
On 17 October, the General Government approved the canonical erection of the Independent Delegation of Angola – São Tomé e Príncipe on January 1, 2019. Likewise, it has been also approved the canonical erection of the Independent Delegation of Kolkata on July 16, 2019.
CANONICAL ERECTION OF THE INDEPENDENT DELEGATION OF SRI LANKA
During the session of 18 October, the General Government approved the canonical erection of the Independent Delegation of Sri Lanka. In the dialogue established between the Provincial Government of Deutschland, the present Government of the Dependent Delegation of Sri Lanka and the Superior General, the date for its canonical erection will have to be decided, which, in principle, may be towards the end of 2019 or the beginning of the year 2020.
