Alpedrete, Spain. The Team of the Claretian Spirituality Center (CESC) and of the Forge Center for Claretian Renewal, Fr. Louie Guades III, CMF from the General Secretariat, and Fr. Gonzalo Fernandez, CMF, General Prefect of Spirituality, are gathered together at the Forge Center for Claretian Renewal in Los Negrales since Monday, 10 September 2018 in view of the final preparations of “The Claretian Year.” They are elaborating a formative and spiritual itinerary that would help all Claretians, personally and communally, to know and live our beautiful spiritual heritage with depth and passion.
The project contains six sections that would make a Claretian know, thank and personalize the life and charism of the Founder through a deepening of some facts of his life and, above all, in his Autobiography. It would also make one know, thank, and personalize its project of missionary life expressed in the Constitutions and in other important documents of our Congregation. It would help learn more about the congregational history through the most relevant characters and events that would be presented on it. Likewise, it would deepen the congregational “we” through reading the intercultural reality of the Congregation. It would help to strengthen the sense of identity and congregational belonging of a Claretian. And last but not the least, it hopes to stimulate the mission of being witnesses and messengers of the joy of the Gospel in the current context as well as help to live the missionary vocation with creative fidelity.
The meeting will end on the 15th of this month.
