Rome, Italy. On the second day of the Claretian Family Youth and Vocations Ministry Meeting, Fr. Gonzalo Fernández, CMF, Vicar General and General Prefect of Spirituality of the Claretian Missionaries, taught the participants on how to use the method of Appreciative Inquiry which has four phases: DISCOVER, DREAM, DESIGN, AND COMMIT. Through group dynamics, he invited them to put into practice some of the phases of this method in the ministry and dream how the Claretian Family would be by the year 2025.
Some of the dreams expressed by the groups were:
“We work as a family, with a single soul, a single spirit despite the cultural diversity we have in different places.” “Everyone shares their gifts generously, happy with the talents of others, and puts them at the service of the Claretian Family.”“The young people see us as a testimony of unity and communion, from the spirit of our Father Founder.”
After the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, two reflection groups were held, one on spirituality and the other on Pastoral Ministry on Universities.
