Aug 5, 2019 | Korea, Solidarity & Mission

Incheon, South Korea. It was a day of joy for the members of St. Claret International Catholic English Community to go for a one-day summer picnic on July 29, 2019. It was organized by St. Claret Migrant and Shelter Center accompanied by two of the Claretians assigned in this very important misnistry of Korea Independent Delegation. The one-day picnic was organized in Yeongheungdo, one of the beautiful beaches, a 3-hour journey from Seoul. There was a total of 89 people (Filipinos, Vietnamese, Sri Lankans, Indians, North Americans, Cambodians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis). It was a day for all of them to get out from various stress of life and the present hot climate, to freely enjoy one day in the water. They had the Holy Eucharistic celebration at the beach and shared delicious lunch together.
