Ballenita, Ecuador. The Regional Pastoral Assembly of the Province of Colombia Oriental – Ecuador (Ecuador Region) took place at the San Fernando Retreat House from May 17 to 18, 2018. This was in view of the preparation of the Province for its XV Provincial Chapter which will be held soon. The Assembly for the Colombia region already took place last April 13 to 15.
The axis of the reports of the Prefecture of Apostolate are the three priorities of the Province: the Vocation Ministry and of new generations, the Biblical Ministry, and the Justice, Peace and Integrity of the Creation. On the other part, considering the General Action Plan, they made some proposals that will be presented to the XV Provincial Chapter that will be held in September of this year 2018.
The Assembly was coordinated by the Prefect of the Apostolate and was attended by their Provincial Superior, Fr. José Santos Torres, CMF, and Bro. Hector Julio Tibaduiza, CMF, Provincial Prefect of Formation and the Provincial Secretary.
