Nochiodaipatty, India. Quinquennium priests from Chennai Province came together for a two-day seminar addressing the challenges and hopes of religious life. The ongoing formation took place on March 15 to 16, 2023, at Claretians-LIFE in Nochiodaipatty, Tamil Nadu, and was attended by nine participants.
The seminar was led by Fr. Ulagaraja Vedamaria Susai, CMF, and Fr. S. Jesu Doss, CMF, the Provincial Superior. The sessions focused on the importance of self-awareness, the effects of attractions and addictions, and the significance of ongoing formation in religious life. Fr. Ulagaraja presentation was followed by a meaningful sharing session where participants were provided the opportunity to reflect and share their personal experiences.
The Provincial spoke on the second day of the seminar, emphasizing the importance of reflecting on one’s weaknesses and struggles. He highlighted the importance of ministry, community, and prayer life, and encouraged the participants to continue to develop their spiritual journeys.
The Quinquennium programme is an ongoing program for the members of the Claretian Missionaries in their first five years of perpetual profession or ordination. It serves as an opportunity for members of the Congregation to come together, share experiences, exchange knowledge and ideas, and strengthen their bond as a community.
