España. The Missionaries of the Claretian Province of Euskal Herria gathered in the Larraona Scool (Pamplona) at 19:30 of December 25, to begin their 13th Provincial Chapter. A total of 25 missionaries will review their life and mission during the last six-year period and will prepare the action lines in view of the challenges that confront them for the next years of the new government. Fr. Paul Smyth, General Consultor, presides over the Chapter.
The motto of this Chapter is the same of the 24th General Chapter celebrated in Rome in August – September, 2009: “Men on fire with love” (a clear reference to our Founder Saint Anthony Mary Claret and to his definition of the Claretian Missionary). In Esukera it is Goi-maitasunaren garraz eraginda. We know that we are called to live out our missionary vocation today in Euskal Herria and in the Mission of Northern Potosi (Bolivia).
