Lagos, Nigeria. The Claretian Missionaries of the West Nigeria Delegation joyfully celebrated a bountiful harvest in the order of diaconate and presbyterate on July 30, 2021, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Lagos.
The Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Lagos, Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martin described the ordination of Fathers Aghedo Samuel, CMF, Alufohia Godwin, CMF, Amgbeye Jude, CMF, Dudiegha Barnabas, CMF, Ikum Cyprian, CMF, and Deacon Mkpe Christopher, CMF as a harvest of joy and a prayer that has been fulfilled. This celebration took place a few weeks after the ordination of Father Olowo Emmanuel, CMF, by the Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Abuja, His Eminence John Cardinal Onaiyekan at Claret Secondary School, Kabba, Kogi State. Both celebrations were indeed an abundant harvest of joy for our Delegation and for the whole Congregation.
We pray for them that the oil of their anointing and the call to the mission may keep them ever-renewed in the service of the Church and the Congregation. Congratulations dear confreres!
