Preparing the IV Claretian Family Educators Congress

Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. From the afternoon of October 31 to November 5, 2018, several members of the three branches of the Claretian family (CMF, RMI, MMI) and other religious institutes with which the educational mission in Equatorial Guinea is shared with (OP, MIC, VD) gathered together at the new General Curia of the Missionaries of Mary Immaculate in Malabo in view of preparing the IV Claretian Family Educators Congress that will be held in the said city on the first week of November of 2020.

In a fraternal atmosphere of prayer, listening to the African reality and much sharing, the objectives, themes, possible speakers, dynamics, logistics have been delineated and the first draft of the program has been constructed.

In addition, the Congress’ Coordinating Committee has been established, namely:
Fr. Salustiano Oyono CMF, Prefect of Apostolate of the Independent Delegation of Padre Xifré – Coordinator;
Sr. Magdalena Angono Edú MMI, General Prefect of Apostolate and Secretary General of the Missionaries of Mary Immaculate – Administradora;
Dr. Salomón, Lay Director of one of the schools of the Missionaries of Immaculate Conception;
Sr. Rodine Diela RMI;
Fr. Alipio Umó CMF.

The work of these days has been complemented with a visit to various places and educational institutions of the Claretian Family. All the participants expressed deep gratitude for the exquisite welcome and cooperation from the MMI and CMFF in Malabo.
