Kerala, India. On 31 October 2020, four students, Kuruvanmackal George, Madathaniyil Joseph, Pazheparambil Joseph, and Valliparambil Scaria, CMFF, made their Perpetual Profession at Claretian Study House, Kunnoth, Kerala. Fr. Jose Thenpillil, CMF, Provincial Superior of St. Thomas Province, received their vows. As the world goes through this troubled time of the Covid-19 pandemic, the function took place in a simple way.
The day after, 1 November 2020, in the same venue, the same students received the Order of Deacons from the hands of His Grace Mar George Njaralakatt, Archbishop of Thalassery Archdiocese. Ten other students also received other minor orders on the same day.
As these students approach nearer to the Altar of our Lord on this Golden Jubilee year of the Presence of Claretian Missionaries in India, the Province is thankful to God almighty for fruitful vocations to our beloved Congregation.
