Rome, Italy. The members of the General Commission of Economy gathered together in Rome from February 18 to 23, 2019 for its annual revision of the balance sheets and budgets of the different Organisms of the Congregation and of the communities and activities that depend directly on the General Administration. This year, Bro. Giovanni Mauricio Ramírez Vanegas, CMF of Colombia Oriental – Ecuador who is recently appointed member of the General Curia, joins the commission. Likewise, Fr. John K.J. Arackaparampil of Northeast India Independent Delegation, who is part of the General Council of Economy, joins them for the first time, substituting Fr. Mathew Pottemparampil, CMF of Claretianum. Both of them were added to the original members: Fr. Luiz Claudemir Botteon, CMF of the Province of Brasil; Fr. Ángel de la Parte París, CMF of the Province of Santiago; Fr. Rafael Gómez Busto, CMF of the Province of Euskal Herria;; Bro. Evencio Cuñado, CMF, Assistant to the General Econome; and Fr. Manuel Tamargo, CMF, General Econome.
