IV Ordinary Assembly of Cameroun Independent Delegation

Jul 4, 2022 | Cameroun

Mbalmayo, Cameroon. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Spiritual Center in Mbalmayo welcomed on Sunday, July 3, 2022, the Claretian Missionaries from the various mission posts of Cameroun Independent Delegation for the celebration of its IV Ordinary Assembly. One thing particular about this Assembly is that the Delegation opted for a paperless, purely digital Assembly, using the same technology that the XXVI General Chapter used.

During these six days, the Assembly presided by Fr. Henry Omonisaye, CMF (Vicar General and General Prefect of Bible and Communication) with Fr. Joseph Mbungu, CMF (General Prefect of Formation), will reflect, dialogue, and work on the theme “Rooted in Christ and audacious in mission: for a Delegation at the service of reconciliation, justice, and peace.”

“We cannot negotiate our relationship with Christ if we want to be daring in the mission.” – A phrase that at the start of the Assembly echoed within the walls of the hall as Fr. Joseph Mbungu, CMF, gradually led them to enter the dynamics of the Assembly through a mini-recollection.

Moreover, on that same day, the Bishop of Mbalmayo, Msgr. Joseph Marie Ndi Okalla visited them. The Claretians are working together with the Diocese of Mbalmayo, especially in Nsen nlong where they administer a parish. The Claretian Novitiate Probst is also located in the said Diocese.

The Assembly will end on the 9th of July 2022. The announcement of the New Delegation Government will be in the coming days. If you wish to know more about the Claretians of Cameroun, visit https://www.cmfcameroon.com
