Spain. From June 8 to 19 the IV Age-group Encounter of the Province of Santiago took place in Colmenar Viejo; it gathered 49 Claretians born between 1938 and 1947.
Fr. Gonzalo Fernández, General Prefect of Spirituality, gave life to the central theme with the title “Praying, working and suffering in the ‘Marvellous Decade’. The Claretian spirituality from 60 to 70 years.” In the afternoon of June 9 Fr. Gonzalo presided over the concelebration of the Eucharist in the Church of the Rosary of La Granja, in which the participants renewed their religious profession in this singular Eucharistic and Claretian framework. A catalogue of “nays” and “yeas” served as a theme conclusion. The Provincial Government was present during the entire encounter and maintained an open dialogue with the participants in the morning of June 10, shortly before the end.
