Londrina, Brazil.From the 23 – 27th of January at the Parish of the Heart of Mary in Londrina, the II National Encounter of Claretian Youth was held.
Participating were some 40 coordinators of the youth groups of the communities of Goiânia, Goianésia, Londrina, Pinhais, Ribeirão Preto, Rio de Janeiro, Rondônia, São Paulo, and Taguatinga.
The objective was: to form the youth of our missionary positions in the Claretian charism, which will be made in three phases:
1. To listen to the difficulties which confront our youth in ministry in their communities.
2. The formation of coordinators in the knowledge of St. Anthony Mary Claret and of the branches of the Claretian Family. To take advantage of this occasion to present the First Grant for Claretian Youth developed by the youth themselves and the base groups of Brazil.
3. To consolidate the proposals of the First National Encounter of Youth held in Pouso Alegre.
In addition to all this was an opportunity to interchange ideas and experiences around the evangelization of youth.
