Rome, Italy. On February 24, the General Governments of the Claretian Missionary Sisters RMI and of the Congregation had a meeting at the CMF General Curia. Fr. Artur Teixeira, CMF – General Prefect of Apostolate – and Sr. Jolanta Maria Kafka, RMI – Superior General – shared the reflections of each Council on the inter-congregational mission agreement in Ankarana, Diocese of Farafangana, Madagascar.
This missionary initiative is part of the “Claret 150 Project”, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of the Founder of both Congregations. The governments dialogued openly about the advances, lines and orientations of the mentioned Missionary Agreement, the chronogram, the members of the missionary team and the formation proposals for this team. Then, the film “Claret” was projected. Finally, the government teams shared dinner.
The meeting between the two governments was as cordial and fraternal as usual. In the Claretian spirit, both congregations are taking steps to enlighten new initiatives and projects of shared mission. And that is a reason for deep joy!
