Dindigul, India. On the fourth day of the VIII Provincial Chapter of the Claretian Missionaries of Chennai Province, April 21, 2022, Fr. Jesu Doss S., CMF, is reelected as Provincial Superior for the next sexennium 2022 – 2028.
Fr. Jesu Doss S. will turn 60 years on April 25. He was born Savriarpatanam in the state of Tamil Nadu in India, in the Diocese of Sivagangai to Sadanandam and Savariammal. He made his first profession on June 12, 1982, at the Claret Bhavan, Caremelaram, Bangalore, and pronounced his Final Vows on May 31, 1988, in Claret Bhavan, Karumathur, Madurai. He was ordained a priest on May 25, 1990, in Saveriayarpattanam. He took Licentiate in the Instituto Theoligico De Vida Religiosa from 1993 to 1996. He became part of the Claretian Spirituality Center and served as Director of CESC from 2005 to 2016. In 2016, he was elected Provincial Superior of the Claretian Missionaries of Chennai.
