San Jose, Costa Rica. On Thursday, July 4, 2019, the fourth day of the XIV Provincial Chapter of Centroamérica that is being held at the Casa de Ejercicios Espirituales in San Jose, Costa Rica, the Chapter members reelected Fr. Ismael Montero Toyos, CMF as its Provincial Superior for the sexennium 2019 – 2025.
Fr. Ismael was born on October 19, 1955 in Santander, Spain. He made his First Profession in the Congregation, in the then Province of Castilla on September 8, 1974 and his final vows on December 8, 1977. He was ordained a priest on June 2, 1983. Later, he was incardinated in the Province of Centroamérica. He became formator of the theology students and Prefect of Apostolate. He served the said Organism as Provincial Superior during the last sexennium.
