The Netherlands. Last Sunday, July 25, 2021, the award ceremony for world leaders was held at the headquarters of the Maharishi organization in Holland.
The Guru Purnima festival is celebrated every year on the full moon day of July to pay homage to the spiritual masters. The Guru is the spiritual guide who accompanies us through life, in the wonderful and mysterious terrain of Spirituality. The greatest respect we can have for the Guru is to show how his teachings influence our actions in daily life. The event was part of the festivities of the Guru Purnima or “feast of the gurus”, which, for this occasion, had great significance because one of the honorees was Father Gabriel Antonio Mejia, CMF, founder of the Claret Homes in Colombia.
The ceremony was presided by Dr. Tony Nader, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, president of the organization, who, together with Raja Luis, shared praising words for Father Gabriel and all the work of Hogares Claret. The recognition was for his important contribution to improve the quality of life of people, applying Maharishi’s technologies of consciousness, in the function of social welfare.
The Hogares Claret Foundation offers therapeutic-pedagogical support to children, adolescents, and adults, affected by marginalization, violence, psychoactive substance abuse and/or behavioral problems, to promote their social inclusion, the restoration of their rights and the construction of a life project. To this end, it is based on four pillars: spirituality, scouting – Scout Pedagogy, family accompaniment, and education based on conscience.
