Fr. Anthony Agu, CMF, Abducted, Now Liberated

Kwande, Nigeria. On May 19, 2022, the Claretian Missionary, Fr. Anthony Agu who works in the Diocese of Pankshine in northern Nigeria was abducted from the rectory by armed men. After all the negotiations and prayers, he was finally liberated on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, and returned to the parish.

Fr. Anthony Ahu, CMF, 61 years old, belongs to the KWANDE / FIER COMMUNITY of the Claretian Province of East Nigeria which renders missionary services to the Shendam, Pankshin, and Bauchi Dioceses.
