Fr. Amador C. Tumbaga, CMF, elected as the Provincial Superior of Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province

Quezon City, Philippines. On the afternoon of January 26, 2025, during the XVI Provincial Chapter of the Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province, Fr. Amador C. Tumbaga, CMF, was elected as Provincial Superior for a term of six years.

Fr. Amador Tumbaga was born on March 30, 1980 to Alejandro Tumbaga and Carmen Concha in Lusacan, Tiaong, Quezon Province. He entered Claret Seminary in 1996 and finished his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2000. He studied and finished a Bachelor of Sacred Theology at the Loyola School of Theology-Ateneo de Manila University in 2007. He was sent to Rome for further studies and finished his Licentiate in Spiritual Theology with Specialization in Vocation Formation in 2017.  

He made his First Profession on May 5, 2002, in Bunguiao, Zamboanga City; his Perpetual Profession on July 16, 2006, in Quezon City and was ordained Priest on December 8, 2007.

Fr. Amador has been assigned for many years in Formation Centers, as Local Econome, Formator, Prefect of Students, and Novice Master. He was once the Prefect of Formation and the Provincial Secretary of Fr. Rhoel Gallardo Province. Before he was elected the Provincial Superior, he served as the Prefect of Spirituality. At present, he is the Vice-postulator for the Cause of Martyrdom of Fr. Rhoel Gallardo, CMF.
