Madrid, Spain: The seventh English edition of FORGE, the signature renewal encounter of Claretian Missionaries, took off colorfully at Los Negrales on Sunday, October 1, 2023, with the Mass of the Holy Spirit, presided over by Rev. Fr. Anthony Obikonu Igbokwe, CMF, the prefect of spirituality & formation of the Province of Santiago, and concelebrated by the Forge participants and several Claretians from the nearby Madrid communities.
Forge 07/23 cohort consists of 17 participants from 13 different major organisms of the Congregation and is led by Frs. Paulson Veliyannoor, Félix Kouame Ketoglo, and Lawrence Venceslaus. The Forge is returning to Los Negrales after a hiatus forced by the covid-19 pandemic and an ad experimentum edition at Colmenar Viejo last year. This 75-day encounter will be completed on December 14, 2023. As always, the Forge, while maintaining the traditional Trinitarian nuclei, continues to draw from the charismatic thrust of the recent congregational chapters as well as of the universal church.
