Carvalhos, Portugal. From the 27th to the 30th of June, 2012 Fathers Joseba Kamiruaga, of Euskal Herria; Màxim Muñoz, of Catalunya; Manuel Tamargo, of Santiago; Félix Martínez, of Bética and Artur Teixeira, of Portugal met in the north of Portugal for their regular annual meeting of Claretian Provincial Superiors of the Iberian Peninsula at the end of the semester.
After the Eucharist on the morning of the 28th they had their first session. Among the themes covered, the first and foremost was the reorganization of the mission and presence of the Claretians in Europe.
In addition to other matters, the participants had the opportunity to visit and learn more about some of the works carried out by the Claretians in Carvalhos: a Youth Home entrusted to the Claret Foundation, the Heart of Mary Seminary, the Shrine “Heart of Mary”, the Postulant Seminary, the Mission Procure, the Monastery of Pedroso, the Parish of Areosa and the boarding school.
The meeting ended on the 30th in the morning, sharing in a Eucharist of thanksgiving for the meeting and expressing deep gratitude for the welcome of friends and brother Claretians of the Province of Portugal.
