Krzydlina Mała, Poland. The VII Provincial Chapter of the Claretian Missionaries of the Province of Poland officially began on Sunday evening, April 24, 2022, in Krzydlina Mała with Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, CMF, General Superior, as the Chapter President and 36 Chapter members. Also present with them is Fr. Gonzalo Fernández Sánz, CMF.
On the next day, Fr. Maximilian Stępień, OSPPE, guided them during the day of recollection. Claretian Auxiliary Bishop of Wrocław {Breslavia}, Titular Bishop of Margum, Msgr. Jacek Kiciński, CMF, presided the Mass for them. The day ended with group work and the celebration of Fr Mark’s name day.
On Tuesday four sessions took place under the discovery stage. They are following the same format of the XXVI General Chapter of the Congregation last year. The sounding for the new Provincial Government also took place.
On that same day, the missionaries from Africa and Siberia presented their missionary activities to those present.
On April 27, 2022, Fr. Piotr Bęza is reelected Provincial Superior for the next six years. After the election and profession of faith, a meeting will with the students at the school run by the Claretians followed.
