The true life that does not have an end can only be found in God who is the living being par excellence. This life that the Word received from his Father´s fullness for the eternal generation communicated it abundantly to the soul and body that united himself in the womb of Virgin. And giving us his humanity through the communion, united us indissolubly to his divinity, impregnates our whole being with his divine life, leaves in it the germ and the pledge of the blessed eternity

IMPEREGNATED WITH THE DIVINE

We have once again before our eyes and in our heart the supreme gift of the Eucharist: the axis of our Christian life. This consecrated bread and vine are truly – as our faith tells us- the renewing power and guarantee of an authentic life and forever. The one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood- says Jesus-, will have eternal life” (Jn 6: 55). God the Father, in his infinite wisdom, “invented” this sacrament, uniting indissolubly in the person of Jesus Christ the divinity with the humanity in the womb of Mary. The Christian who longs to be united intimately to God – Trinity already in this life- and tries to lead a holy life-, has here on earth, at the bottom of his being, the germ and the pledge of final fullness. God is a loving, close, strong and faithful friend with his loving care.
He became man in the womb of Mary and being born in time, made us children of the Father and of the Mother, his brothers and living temples of his Spirit. He deposited in the Church once for all his sacramental body and from this and with this, he feeds us always. The blood he shed on the cross washes away our sins. The Eucharist fills us with his divinity, makes us divine and propels us to the eternal glory. Let us not make an act of faith but many and believe firmly in the hidden treasure that is the Eucharist; the treasure that leads us within and renews us whenever we eat and drink at the table of the Lord.
We are divine and the humanity of Jesus and his divinity are pushing us slowly to the eternal banquet of glory. Are we worthy of this grace? Do our efforts lead us more and more to the banquet of the Kingdom?
