Kupang, Indonesia. Faith is not only expressed and celebrated in liturgical ceremonies, but must also bear real fruit in concrete charitable acts. This is one of the perspectives for reading and bringing to life the motto “More faith, more solidarity” of the Fasting Action for Development 2021 project.
In an effort to realize the ideals of this project, the Hati Maria (Heart of Mary) Seminary Community of Kupang launched activities to respond to the call of the local Church to be more faithful and more in solidarity with others in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Activities to give meaning to formative discipleship during this Lent included virtual catechesis in three different categories: children, youth and adults. These catecheses ended with a solidarity act, sharing with several families of the communities where the Claretian missionaries carry out their apostolates: Manuat Chapel, Chapela Poplae and Chapela Noeltes.
