Buckden, U.K. The Major Superiors of the ten Claretian Provinces of Europe have arrived today (25-01-13) in Buckden (England) to study and approve the statutes of the new “Conference of Europe”.
The meeting is presided over by Fr. Josep Maria Abella, Superior General and two members of the General Government, Frs. Paul Smith and José Felix Valderrábano.
After this meeting of the ten provincial is over, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon, some of them will continue till Sunday afternoon as members of the special Commission to advance the Re-organisation of the Provinces and Delegations of Europe.
Buckden one of the most historical places of the Congregation is becoming one of the basis for the future organisation of the Congregation is Europe. We entrust the Lord all the reflections and discussions of our Major Superior during this weekend in the United Kingdom.
