On the evening of the 16th of August, the youths from all our parishes in West Delegation of Nigeria, they converged in Ado Ekiti for this year’s Youth Rally, organized by the office of the Youth Chaplain with the theme: “A Life Inspired by the Word”.
The Bishop of Ekiti Diocese was there to welcome the youths and had Mass with them the following day.
High points of the Mass were his call for our youths to be instrument of peace and harmony in our country, to be listeners of the Word and thus doers of the Word when inspired. They were urged to make deep their faith especially the Creed, more so that the Pope has announced this year as the Year of Faith.
Talks from various Claretians based on the theme were presented, quiz, games and many more programs were on hand to make all feel the presence of Claret in the lives of our youths.
As it sets to conclude tomorrow, lets pray for its success.
