7. Generating Intercultural and Intergenerational Spaces
The Claretian Sortarazi Association focuses on integrating and developing people in situations of exclusion, mainly young homeless immigrants.
Its Itzalaberri programme provides social support and essential services. It also strives to create intercultural and intergenerational spaces to foster inclusion and community growth.
In a recent initiative, it brought together young migrants and elderly residents, strengthening community ties and fostering mutual understanding between generations and cultures. The youth gain wisdom from the elders and the elders benefit from the energy and cultural diversity of the youth.
