Equatorial Guinea. On Saturday, 11 May 2024, the Father Xifré Delegation celebrated the Claretian Family Day. This fraternal event brought together Claretian laypeople, Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate, Missionaries of the Immaculate Conception, and Claretian Missionaries, as well as Claretian aspirants residing at the Father Sialo vocational reception house.
The day unfolded with deep reflection and shared joy. Attendees spent time exploring the foundational charism of the Congregation, examining the core elements that established this religious family 175 years ago and how they have adapted over time to meet new challenges and historical circumstances.
One of the highlights was the exchange of missionary experiences, particularly focusing on the life of Father Benjamin Martín Gayubo, CMF. His commitment to missionary service offers both inspiration and a role model. His living testimony embodies the dedication to the Church’s life and mission, continuing the legacy of the founder, Saint Anthony Mary Claret.
In a spirit of brotherhood, they expressed gratitude to God for the blessings received by the Claretian family and prayed for the intercession of Saint Anthony Mary Claret to further their mission in the Church and the world.
