Karukutty, India. The second edition of the Claretian Discerning Leadership Workshop (CDLW) for ASCLA West was recently held at Claretian Provincial House of St. Thomas Province in Karukutty. The workshop was a great success and had a profound impact on the 28 members from the 5 Major Organisms in India who attended.
The seven-day residential encounter (November 18-25, 2023) was held to enhance leadership skills and deepen the understanding of Claretian principles. The inauguration was led by Fr. Siby Njavallikunnel CMF, the Provincial Superior of St. Thomas Province, who emphasized the significance of the CDLW at the Congregational level, outlining its objectives and benefits. The sessions offered valuable insights to the participants.
During the concluding session, the participants had the honour of receiving a virtual address from Fr. Matthew Vattamattam CMF, the Superior General of the Congregation. His words added a spiritual dimension to the workshop, reinforcing the importance of such initiatives.
