Granada, Spain. A momentous occasion unfolded at Claret Granada Residence last Thursday, 25 May 2023, as residents were blessed with the rare opportunity to engage in a live conversation with His Holiness, Pope Francis through the project “Being Together.” The event was expertly organized by the Scholas Foundation, and the enchanting exchange was globally broadcasted with the support of Telemundo.
During the live program, one of the residents had the opportunity to ask His Holiness if he remembered any conversation with an elderly person during his youth, to which the Pope responded with a personal experience with his own grandparents and told them the importance of learning from the experience of the elderly, and above all what they can contribute to the society.
It was an unrepeatable experience, very emotional and enriching.
