Rome, Italy. Cardinal Deacon Aquilino Bocos Merino, CMF, takes possession of his Titular Church in Rome yesterday, 26 January 2019, the Church of Sta. Lucía del Gonfalone. Présent during the Mass and agape were the Claretians in Rome, members of the General Government and of the Delegation of Italy. Also present were some religious, friends, and the faithful.
The church of Sta. Lucia del Gonfalone was made a cardinalate deaconry by Pope John Paul II on 21 October 2003.
