Bengaluru, India: Bangalore Province continues its efforts along the synodal path of the Church and congregational journey of being rooted in Christ and audacious in mission. The Province has planned three regional assemblies to be held in different geographical regions where they have a presence. The first regional assembly, for the Karnataka-Kerala and Goa region, took place on 30-31 July 2024 at Claret Nivas in Carmelaram. This region has fifteen communities, and 50 members, including the Provincial Government.
The assembly began with a session by Fr. Paulson Veliyannoor, CMF, to update the recently held Spirituality Congress. This session helped the participants recollect the congregation’s charismatic and spiritual roots, culminating in moments of Adoration. The rest of the sessions were spent updating the participants about the communities and ministries in the region and evaluating and planning for the path ahead.
