Coimbra, Portugal. On November 1st the Portuguese edition of the Autobiography, published on the bicentennial of the birth of St. Anthony Mary Claret with introduction and notes by José Mª Viñas CMF y Jesús Bermejo CMF, has been introduced.
This edition titled “Autobiography and Complimentary Writings. St. Anthony Mary Claret”, was carried out by the Portuguese Province of the Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and was translated by Fr. Jose Augusto Correia de Oliveira, CMF.
Participating in the act was the Bishop of Coimbra, the members of the General Government, and the Major Superiors with representatives from all the Organisms of Europe who are gathered in Fatima, Claretians from the various communities of the Province of Portugal, and various friends and collaborators. Fr. Artur Teixeira, CMF, Provincial Superior of Portugal, introduced the act, and Fr. Correia de Oliveira explained the characteristics of this new edition. Fr. General congratulated the Province for this edition and Fr. Correia for his work. The act was closed by the Bishop of Coimbra.
