Taiwan. From the 8th to the 11th of April the major superiors of ASCLA East (Philippines, East Asia, Indonesia-Timor-West, and Korea) met in Taiwan for their annual coordination meeting.
During the meeting they dealt with various issues related to possible apostolic and formation collaboration in the region, and various proposals were studied by the different commissions of the Apostolate
These proposals are the result of different meetings, according to priorities, held on a regional level for the preparation of the Asian Missionary Encounter (ASCLA East and West) which will be celebrated in Manila next June (10-17).
In addition, those in charge of ASCLA East for the following period were ratified: Fr. Leo Dalmao (President), Fr. Francisco Carín, (Secretary), and Fr. Vincent Lee (Econome). This is the first time this meeting was held in Taiwan and was an opportunity for the participants to know, first hand, the Claretians assigned there, their apostolic work, and the full reality of the country.
