Lambaré, Paraguay. At the beginning of December the altar servers of the Parish of Lambaré ended their year of meetings and fellowship with a pilgrimage and walk to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Miracles of Caacupé, Patroness of Paraguay.
Participating were 11 children accompanied by four Claretian seminarians and six parents.
Before arriving to the Sanctuary they mde a “mini-pilgrimage”, and after visiting the Virgin, they climbed to the “Lookout” where they were able to contemplate the beautiful pictures of the history of Caacupé, see the panorama of the entire city, and contemplate the interior of the Basilica from up high.
They also took the opportunity to participate in the celebration of the Eucharist and enjoy lunch. Later they visited the first church built in honor of the Virgin of Caacupé and the “Ykua”, the spring that according to tradition flows constantly since the time of the apparitions.
Simple activities such as these make possible the “dedication to the evangelization of new generations and to the vocation ministry”, asexpressed by the last General Chapter (MFL 60).
