Luanda, Angola. The Major Superiors of the Provinces, Delegations and Mission posts of the Claretian Missionaries in Africa (ACLA) are currently in Luanda for their annual ACLA Major Superiors’ meeting. It started on February 20 and is expected to end on February 26, 2024.
During the opening session, Fr. Jude Thaddeus Langeh, CMF, ACLA President, addressed the assembly emphasizing the importance of engaging in deep discussions, sharing experiences, and exploring strategies to navigate the complexities of the present reality in Africa.
The General Superior, Fr. Mathew Vattamattam, CMF, who is currently in Mexico for the Assembly of Mexico Province, sent them a message telling them that may this be “an opportunity to look at our congregational presence in Africa and review the collective journey in the different dimensions of our life and missions.”
The ACLA Major Superiors will discuss crucial matters concerning formation, mission strategies, and ensuring the continued relevance of the Claretian mission within the ever-evolving African landscape.
