Barcelona, Spain. TV3 (Spanish Television) is preparing a miniseries on the life of Bishop Pedro Casaldàliga, Claretian Missionary.
The two-part miniseries is based on the novel of the same name by Francisco Escribano «Descalç on Terra Vermella» (Barefoot on the Red Earth).
The actor Eduard Fernández (starring, among other films, “Black Bread” or “Wolves of Washington”) plays the role of Bishop Pedro Casaldàliga in the miniseries, a co-production of Absolute Minority with TV3, TVE, Raiz Produções Cinematográficas, and TV Brazil.
It’s a fiction that narrates the most troubled era of Bishop Pedro Casaldáliga – who this past February 16th turned 84 years, in Brazil.
