Madrid, Spain. A Theological Symposium entitled “Present, memory, future. Dreams and designs under construction” highlighted the 75th year of Vida Religiosa Magazine. The management of the magazine believed that the celebration would be better celebrated this way because they are certain that after a process of reflection and deep transformation experienced in recent years, the urgency of the consecrated life is not so much the adaptation to this time, as to the inauguration of new spaces and new styles of presence walking in the middle of the “Holy faithful people” as expressed by Pope Francis.
Scheduled March 1 to 3, 2019, the Theological Symposium addresses all consecrated persons, particularly those who have responsibility for the animation, reorganization and transformation of their institutes; to all those who are restless for their present and future as consecrated; to those who are helping in the formation and accompaniment of the Consecrated Life.
Invited speakers to this symposium: Óscar Cardinal Maradiaga, Archbishop of Tegucigalpa and coordinator of the C6; Aquilino Cardinal Bocos, former director of the Vida Religiosa Magazine; Silvio Báez, Auxiliary Bishop of Managua; Santiago Agrelo, Archbishop of Tangier; Montserrat del Pozo, Superior General of the HH. of the Holy Family of Nazareth; Emili Turú, Secretary General of the Union of Superiors General; José Cristo Rey G. Paredes, theologian and member of the Vida Religiosa management team; José María R. Olaizola, CEO of the Loyola communication group; Nurya Martínez-Gayol, professor of theology at the Pontifical University of Comillas; José Tolentino de Mendonça, Archbishop-Librarian of the Holy See; Juan María González-Anleo, PhD in political science and sociology, and Luis Alberto Gonzalo Díez, Director of the Religious Life Magazine.
