Online Workshop. The second edition of the 2024 Intercultural Workshop, held from September 23 to November 24 this year, brought together 163 participants from various branches of the Claretian Family, exceeding expectations in participation and overall evaluation.
The Intercultural Workshop has become a cornerstone of ongoing formation to address the challenges of interculturality both within communities and in mission work. This initiative equips participants with tools to live and collaborate in diverse communities.
This workshop had 163 participants out of 197 registered, achieving an acceptance rate of 82.7%. With groups conducted in Spanish, English, and French, it welcomed members from different Claretian branches, including nearly 50 RMI (Religious of Mary Immaculate – Claretian Missionary Sisters) and 25 Claretian Laypersons. The completion rate stood at an impressive 74.9%, considering logistical challenges such as the availability of English-speaking tutors. Smaller groups and interactive dynamics enriched cultural exchanges, fostering a deeper and more communal experience.
Feedback from over 100 participants showed a satisfaction rate of more than 95%, and over 98% would recommend the workshop to others.
Looking ahead to 2025, two editions of the workshop are already planned: from May 5 to July 6, and from September 23 to November 24. Improvements will be made to group dynamics and teaching materials, aiming to promote a more inclusive and tailored experience for all Claretian branches. Additionally, groups will be limited to no more than 8 participants to facilitate dialogue and experience-sharing.
